TheFenix E02R is a pocket-sized EDC flashlight in the form of a keychain that emits a 200 lumen output with a range of up to 49 meters, equipped with an integrated rechargeable battery and a USB-C charging port.
The body of the Fenix E02r flashlight is made of durable aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, making the flashlight's barrel and head scratch-resistant.
With alength of 48 mm and a weight of 15 g, we can forget about the existence of this light during everyday carry. The compact flashlight attached to the keys will be perfect for everyday activities, helping to brighten the darkness at the right moment.
The milled surface of the aluminum improves grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping from your hand. Activating the flashlight and changing modes is done conveniently, by turning the head.
The light source is a powerful Cree XP-G2 S3 LED, which in high mode emits a flux of 200 lumens with a brightness of 591 candelas and a range of 49 meters. The light is evenly and widely dispersed thanks to an ultra-thin collimating lens.
The user has 2 light modes: high and low. In high mode, the flashlight can operate for up to 25 minutes, in low mode 15 lumens for up to 6.5 hours. Illumination with a flux of 15 lumens is more than enough to spot light a purse, toolbox or open a door lock.
Theflashlight uses a 120 mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery, which we charge via a hidden micro USB port. It is accessed by pulling the flashlight's body apart. The full charging cycle time is 6.5 hours.
We activate the flashlight and change modes using the rotary switch (rotation of the flashlight head), which can be conveniently operated with one hand. The minimalist interface makes the flashlight ideal for everyday use, where we usually just need quick access to light.
The flashlight'shigh IP68 rating makes it resistant to total immersion in water (to a depth of 2 meters), dust and dirt, and falling.
TheFenix E02R is a functional gadget with an efficient light output, which will be great for everyday use, as part of edc gear or as a backup flashlight.
The presented parameters were obtained under laboratory conditions. A 120 mAh Li-po battery was used during testing.
